Project Details:┬áThis 2-story garage apartment is based off of the clients desire to maximize the lot to capture potential rental income. Designed within the restrictions of the City of Austin’s Secondary Structure Development Code, the design features a open concept, 1st floor kitchen, living room and dining room. A stair leading from the entryway to the second floor provides the access between the downstairs ‘public’ and upstair ‘private’ bedrooms and bath. Although only 850 sqft., this apartment feels sizable due to the comfortable layout and generous windows providing natural light.
